Walker Valley Geode Site Access Information
The access road to the popular Walker Valley geode locality is now gated. This has been done
primarily to keep the "kegger" parties off the DNR land. Since the Washington State Mineral Council has a valid mineral lease for the
geode locality, the site is still accessible for rockhounding activities.
The WSMC lock is the bottom combination lock, the combination numbers are 5-4-2-5 . After dialing, you must
depress, then pull to open. To re-lock, you must scramble numbers first. Re-lock after entry
If you are not a member of a local club, please join one. Many rock and mineral clubs have field trips to other interesting collecting
sites.
